Rain Forest Research Institute (RFRI) is inviting application for 5 posts of Store Keeper, Forest Guard, Technical (Maintenance) and Driver (Ordinary Grade). 

1. STORE KEEPER

Number of vacancies : 01 (UR)

Educational Qualification : 12th passed from a recognized Board,

Age Limit : 18-27 years as on 30/10/2020

Pay Scale : 21700-69100 Rupees

2. FOREST GUARD

Number of vacancies : 01 ( Ex-Servicemen)

Educational Qualification : 

(a) 12th passed with science from recognized Board.

(b) The candidates will be required to successfully complete Forestry training course from a recognized Forest Guard Training Institution during the probation period.

Age Limit : 18-27 years as on 31/10/2020

Pay Scale : 19900-63200

3. Technician ( Maintenance)

Number of vacancies : 02

Trade wise vaccancies :

(a) Electrical 01 post (UR)

(b) Plumber -01 post (UR)

Educational Qualification : Matriculation from a recognized Board with ITI certificate in relevant trade or certificate course from recognized Institute.

Age Limit : 18-30 years as on 30/10/2020

Pay Scale : 19900-63200 Rupess

4. DRIVER ( ORDINARY GRADE )

Number of vacancies : 01 (Ex-Servicemen)

Educational Qualification : (a) Matriculation from a recognized board.

                                               (b) Possession of a valid driving license for motor cars.

Experience : Experience of driving a motor car for 3 years or more.

Desirable : Knowledge of motor mechanism ( the candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles).

Age Limit : 18-27 years as on 30/10/2020

Pay Scale : 19900-63200 Rupees 

Upper Age Relaxation : Upper age limit is relaxable as per government norms.

Candidate's Selection : Selection of the candidates will be through written Examination and Trade Test wherever applicable. The written examination will be conducted at Rain Forest Research Institute, Jorhat, Forest Research Centre for Bamboo & Rattan, Aizawl and Forest Research Centre for Livelihood Extension, Agartala.
